Our talent search for "the best of the best" jazz vocalists
Jazzmobile Inc. will host the fifth annual “Jazzmobile Vocal Competition” scheduled to take place May 30th – June 19thth. Jazz singers, who want to join in the fun and compete to become “the best of the best,” are invited to audition to be a part of the competition.
Auditions will be held Monday, May 5, 2008 , 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Harlem School of the Arts, 647 St. Nicholas Avenue, NY, NY 10030 (between 141st & 145th Street) Twelve singers will be selected as finalists to compete in the Competition May 30th at Sweet Rhythms, June 12th at the Alhambra Ballroom and the Finals at the River Room Restaurant on June 19th . The 1st place winner will receive the “Jazzy Vocal Award,” $2000 “cash” award and be featured during “Jazzmobile’s Summer Festival,”. The First Runner-up will receive $1000. We want you to be there and join on the competition to be named Jazzmobile’s 2008 Best of the Best Jazz Vocalist!
