education and meaningful job and career training programs of the highest
quality for youths and adults.
Jazzmobile, Inc. is a public, not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) arts and
educational institution founded in 1964 by Dr. Billy Taylor. As the
pioneer organization designed for the preservation and propagation of
Jazz, "America's Classical Music", it is committed to creative expression
through all forms of the arts. Jazzmobile is governed by a volunteer Board
of Directors whose Chairman is Dr. George Butler, former Senior Vice
President/Executive Producer at Sony Music/Columbia Records. |
